Kosuke Yonamine Sensei was born on November 25th 1939. He learnt Karate from Kanei Uechi Sensei, Shintoku Takara Sensei and Seisho Yonaha Sensei. He was graded Hanshi 9th Dan on May 9th 1999 in Uechi Ryu Karate and is the president of the Okikukai Association. His Kobudo Sensei were Eisuke Akamine Sensei and Katsuhiko Minowa Sensei. He was graded Kyoshi 8th Dan on 14th January 1999 in Ryukyu Kobudo Hozon Shinko Kai.
